Description:
13C,15N Uniformly labeled Amylin, (IAPP: Islet Amyloid PolyPeptide). Amylin is a 37 amino acid peptide hormone that is co-secreted with insulin from the pancreas, during and after food intake. It was identified independently by two groups as the major component of islet Amyloid deposits in 1987 (Cooper et al and Westermark et al).
